We build custom software with a crew of AI agents.
Nymrel is a small software studio in Washington State that builds custom software for other businesses, and runs its own work with a permanent crew of AI agents supervised by one senior engineer who is accountable for what ships. We build websites, web apps, internal tools, and AI features, then launch them and keep them running. Scoping costs $1,000 and produces a written spec and an estimate you can take to any builder. Ongoing care starts at $499 a month. Fixed-price audits start at $500 and are paid for online without a sales call. Build work is quoted after scoping. We are one accountable person and a set of agents, not a staffed agency, so a project needing a team of engineers is not a project we should take.
This page is for the buyer who asked an assistant whether firms like this exist. They do, several are much larger than us, and the comparison page names them. Here is what we actually build, what it costs, what working together looks like, and where we are the wrong choice.
What running on agents means in practice
Agents do the drafting, the reviewing, and the checking. A person reads the result and decides what ships. When it turns out wrong, that person carries it. The division is the whole method, and it is why the studio can take scopes too small to pay for a staffed team.
The part a buyer can verify is the checking. Every product Nymrel claims is listed in the Record with a live URL, and each one is re-checked against that URL rather than against a screenshot. If a claim on this site cannot be traced to something you can open, it is meant to be removed.
How we build, and how to check it →What we build
Websites and lead funnels
Public sites built to turn a visit into a booked job or a submitted brief, with the intake wired to somewhere a human reads.
See one that is live →Web apps and internal tools
Working applications rather than brochures: dashboards, calculators, booking flows, and the small internal tools a business runs on.
See one that is live →AI features tested against real inputs
Product features that use models to do a job, checked against real inputs before launch rather than demonstrated on a happy path.
See one that is live →Storefronts and checkout
Catalogue, cart, and payment on a real processor, with the order path proved end to end before it opens.
See one that is live →Search and AI discoverability
The technical work that decides whether search engines and AI assistants can read a site, plus the audit that finds what is missing.

What it costs
These are published prices, not a range we quote after learning your budget. On 2026-08-04 we fetched the sites of seven firms in this category and none of them published a price on the page we read. That is the difference worth knowing about before a call.
- Free scan$0no email, no signup
Eight technical checks on any public URL, scored in about a minute. Run it before talking to us.

A full read of how classic search, AI answer engines, and autonomous agents see your site. No sales call in the way.
Details → - Paid scoping$1,000one-time
Scope, sequence, acceptance criteria, and a build estimate you can take to any builder, including one who is not us.

Watching the live site, fixing what breaks, and working through the improvement list month by month.

Build work is quoted after scoping, because a number given before the scope exists is a guess. For a narrow set of projects the studio will build and run the product for a share of what it earns instead of a fee.
What the engagement looks like
- 1You send a briefA form on this site, read by a person. You get a reply from a nymrel.com address with an honest read on fit, including when the fit is wrong.
- 2Scoping, if the work needs itA written spec, a sequence, and an estimate. This is a paid piece of work and the output is yours whether or not you build with us.
- 3BuildAgents draft and check, a person reviews and ships. You see the work in production rather than in a status report.
- 4Launch and careThe thing goes live, gets set up so search engines and assistants can read it, and then either you run it or we do.
The evidence, and its honest limits
The Record lists twenty live URLs. Each one is re-checked against the real address on a weekly policy, and each entry shows when it was last confirmed. You can open every one of them without asking us for anything.
The limit is worth stating plainly. Most of those twenty are properties Nymrel built for itself rather than for a paying client, and the studio is young. We have not asked any client for permission to use their name here, so no client is named on this page. If you want to talk to someone we have worked for, ask in your brief and we will ask them.
Open the Record →Who we are not for
The comparison page names firms that are the right answer for each of these, with what they publish about themselves.
- You need engineers added to your own team. Nymrel does not do staff augmentation. Azumo sells exactly that.
- You need a staffed team on a multi-year programme. We are one accountable person and a set of agents. HatchWorks, SoluLab, and Boldare are built for that shape of work.
- You are a bank, insurer, or regulated lender. Nymrel does no regulated-industry compliance work. Neurons Lab does only that.
- You want an AI engineer inside your own engineering organisation rather than an outside builder. That is a product, and Cognition sells it.
- You want a dashboard that watches your AI visibility every week. That is a subscription and several good ones are cheap. Ours is a one-time audit and the repair work.
- You need a signed enterprise procurement package, a security questionnaire turned around by a compliance team, or 24-hour on-call. None of those exist here.
Common questions
- Are there really development agencies that run on AI agents?
- Yes, and there is no leader in the category yet. A blind test we ran on 2026-08-04 asked four different AI model houses this question and got nineteen different company names back with no overlap between them. HatchWorks, Boldare, Azumo, Neurons Lab, SoluLab, Brocoders, and Cognition are among the real ones. Nymrel is the small end of that group.
- Does a human review the code, or do the agents just ship it?
- A person reviews and decides. Agents draft, review each other, and run the checks, and one senior engineer reads the result and carries the consequence if it is wrong. That is the reason the studio takes scopes small enough for one person to actually read.
- What does it cost to hire Nymrel?
- The scan is free with no email. The Agent-Ready Audit is a fixed $500 paid online. Scoping is $1,000 and produces a spec and estimate you can take anywhere. Care starts at $499 a month. Build work is quoted once scoping is done, since a number offered before that would be a guess.
- Why is your build price not published when everything else is?
- Because build scope varies more than anything else we sell, and a published build price would either be wrong or so wide it tells you nothing. The paid scoping step exists so you get a real number early, and you keep that estimate whether or not you build with us.
- How big is Nymrel?
- One senior engineer, accountable for what ships, plus a permanent crew of AI agents. There is no bench. If your project needs several engineers working at once, we are not the right studio and the comparison page names ones that are.
- Can I see work you have done?
- Yes. The Record lists twenty live URLs with the date each was last checked against its real address. Most are properties Nymrel built for itself rather than for clients, which is worth knowing when you read it.
- Will you build in exchange for a share of revenue instead of a fee?
- For a narrow set of projects, yes. Nymrel builds and runs the product and takes a share of what it earns, with terms written before anything starts. Ask about it in a brief and we will tell you honestly whether your project is one of those.
- Where are you based, and who do you work with?
- Nymrel is built in Washington State and works with businesses across the United States. The work is remote.
